Join the Maker Movement at Ithaca Media Arts!
COMBINE SATURDAY AFTERNOONS & EVENINGS FOR 6 HOURS OF MAKING, LEARNING, AND FUN!!!
Join us Saturday afternoons for Animation Maker, Web Site Maker and Game Maker workshops in Lego Animation, ROBLOX Game Building, Web Site Creation and CGI Animation. Then stay into the evening for fun playing ROBLOX and Minecraft at our LAN parties. Parents can drop off at 3pm and pick up at 9pm! Bring a bag lunch/dinner to eat with us during the break between sessions. Or select programs separately. Get a 5-session Season Pass for maximum savings, learning, and fun!

SATURDAY MAKER WORKSHOPS
Saturday afternoons 3-6pm
Fee: $35 per person (per session), or $125 season pass, all 5 sessions (per person)
For ages 5 – 99 (adults welcome!)
ANIMATION & FILM/VIDEO MAKER STUDIO:

LEGO ANIMATION – use our Lego characters or your own

CGI ANIMATION – make computer generated animation

CEL ANIMATION – draw individual frames, Disney-style

GREEN SCREEN TECHNIQUES – superimpose images

STOP MOTION ANIMATION – shoot frame by frame

CLAYMATION – create moving, ‘living’ clay creatures
Make your own digital shorts! Try different techniques. Learn and experiment with up to six different animation techniques. Then see your creations on a huge movie screen in our annual show at Cinemapolis! No experience needed!
GAMING & TECH MAKER STUDIO:

ROBLOX GAME MAKING + MINECRAFT
Build your own online video game with the ROBLOX multi-player game platform and share it with the world! Advanced students may learn to use the Lua scripting language to control your ROBLOX game environment. Minecraft play too. No experience needed.

3D PRINTING
Design and make your own things with state-of-the-art 3D printing. Learn to create your own toys, small plastic art pieces, animation characters and more! Adults are welcome too! For ages 8 and up.

BUILD A WEB SITE!
Make your own web site using WordPress! Adults are welcome too – a great opportunity to create your own web site for any purpose! For ages 8 and up. ($30 one-time additional fee for a .com style URL registration for single session workshop, included free with season pass.)

LEGO ROBOTICS!
Build working robots that you can program to sense objects, move on their own and even speak. Easy assembly and programming. No experience needed.
